  In 2003, Regina Carter released the album Paganini: After A Dream, inspired by her opportunity to play the celebrated virtuoso’s violin. Regina will bring this spirit to Varner Hall as she and the Oakland Jazz Quartet reinterpret themes and compositions from the classical canon, ranging from Mozart to modern.

Solo Performance and Workshops @ 11th International Percussion and Educational Festival, Quito, ECUADOR

  CEFORMA and ESTUDIO DE PERCUSION will be hosting their 11th International Percussion and  Educational Festival in Quito, Ecuador from July 25th to July 28th, 2016 Estudio de Percusión is the only institution that has organized an International Percussion Festival, with high musical quality and new teaching techniques, every year in Ecuador. This year's festival will feature workshops every day from 10-5pm with evening concerts featuring a wide ranging of national and international percussion artists. Workshops will take place at the national symphony orchestra building.The festival will conclude with a big concert on July 28th.
